Born in Stockholm, Frida studied acting in Malmo and was soon seen all over the Swedish stage. She made her screen debut in 1988’s Det forsta aventyret, before taking a bunch of bit roles in stuff like Svart Lucia (1992), The Searchers (1993), The Slingshot (1993) and 30:e november (1995). On TV, Frida had a recurring role as Helena Linder on the suburban Stockholm soap opera Tre kronor, but her career really hit the bigtime in 2004. That was when Frida was named one of European Films “Shooting Stars” thanks to her work in As It Is in Heaven (2004), a “Best Foreign Language Film” Oscar nominee about an internationally renowned conductor who returns to his small town to run the local church choir. If your idea of Heaven is a smoking hot blonde girl showing all three B’s, you’ll find the movie is. as it is, indeed. We get another look at the pair, and technically the pair, while she’s lying in bed with him a little later on. There’s nothing like a pair of Swedish meatballs! That ones got a sequel Frida was in called Heaven on Earth (2015) but she didn’t reprise her nudity. Instead, after starring in Monky (2017) Frida headed back to the small screen as Emma Winarve on the murder mystery The Inspector and the Sea. Our inspection is far from over. We’re gonna need to see more Frida Hallgren!
